Our Thoughts…

These treats are limited ingredients, only beef liver nothing else which I LOVE, great alternative for pets who need to avoid additives and extras in their treats.  We like to try to stay away from grains and extras in our food so these are now an option in our pantry for a quick training session or a sneak of a treat.

The only thing we found that was slightly off was the Evanger‘s website markets their treats as freeze dried however these are noted to be ‘gently dried’ or dehydrated.

It was noted that these dried Livers may also be re-hydrated with warm water for 3-5 minutes to give a more savory texture, a nice alternative to hide medicines in for sneaky dogs.  These treats are great as they come because they aren’t greasy and are easily broken up if needed.  The general box has nice, good sized pieces that are easy to hold in the hand and offer when needed, or in the pocket for training.

Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed these liver pieces as they are.  Everyone from our picky girl to our old man of 15yrs really enjoyed these morsels. Our finicky girl even searched my hands long after they were gone looking for more!
